I don't want to make any of you that are still shoveling the snow feel too bad, but this is how it looks in the quad area of our school. The popcorn is popping, and the trees are so pretty! If it's any consolation though, they really stink!
If you look closely, you can even see the bees buzzing around. Seriously this is a beautiful day. But yeah, you all can make fun of us during the summer when we are sweltering................

im so jealous... it looks so warm and the trees are pretty. although i am not jealous of the smell. those trees smell so bad.
Those trees do look gorgeous. That stinky though, huh? We, unfortunately, will be sweltering right along with you...you can't even escape by visiting your grandkids. And I think it is nearly as bad in Utah too.
i'll take the stink over the 2 feet of snow. and i will be sure to rub it in when its 85 here and 110 there.
Oh I always liked it when those trees started blooming because it meant that spring was just around the corner! But yes, the smell is BAD. Like a combination of unmentionable body functions. But your pictures are very pretty!
Oh I cannot wait!!! I love the spring when everything is finally in bloom. We have actually had some really nice days but not quite spring yet. By the way... who is scipiosal?
