After being nearly worn out from the days of labor and no sleep, Cassidy began the pushing ordeal, which lasted almost two hours. James and I were pretty good cheerleaders during this. Even though I have been through childbirth five times myself, I hate watching my daughters go through the valley of the shadow of death! It just about kills me to see them suffer! Just when Cass thought she couldn't endure any longer, he was finally born. He was the cutest little baby. Not so little, actually. A whopping 8 lbs. 10 oz. and 21 1/2 inches long. He is almost a little chubby!
First family photo. Isn't Cass' hair cute? She got hot and sweaty so the delivery nurse shoved it all up in an elastic. Cass has a ton of hair, and it's super long, so I thought the nurse did as good as could be expected!
Sweet picture of Mommy and babe.

Here he is all ready to go home from the hospital in his cute little outfit.

I'm so proud of Cassidy and her new little one.
What I love about Truman is how he loves to snuggle right up in your neck and just lay there. He also loves a binky, which I always love in a baby. And he loves his Grammy Jo, I can already tell!

Cass and I did a little photo shoot the other day with Truman in a basket with the handmade blankets from Grandma Q. and Me. Does he look like Moses in his little basket?
